Delivery Driver

Our client, in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be part of the operations team supporting daily delivery services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

Shift: Start at 8am, Monday through Saturday, based on delivery needs

What's the Job?

Operate a 5-ton Class 5 delivery truck to transport goods to various locations within the region
Unload products efficiently and safely, ensuring accurate delivery to customers
Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the delivery vehicle
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries

What's Needed?

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Clean driving abstract and valid driver’s license
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Steel-toed shoes are required for safety
Availability to start immediately and work flexible days including Saturday
