Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Administrator with deep expertise in Malware Protection technologies, specifically Trellix , to join our team. This role is for a prestigious client in the financial sector, requiring a highly operational and self-sufficient professional to support, troubleshoot, and upgrade advanced security systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary expert for Trellix technologies, ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting issues, and managing upgrades.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain advanced Malware Protection solutions, including Trellix, McAfee, Tanium , and BeyondTrust .
- Provide hands-on operational support and expert-level troubleshooting for security tools.
- Govern and support Data Security/Protection projects or programs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, procedures, and tools for security solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to present complex technical solutions in an understandable way.
- Lead efforts to enhance and optimize security measures and tools.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional IT experience , with 5+ years in security or Malware Protection technologies .
- Proven expertise with Trellix or similar tools (McAfee, Tanium, BeyondTrust).
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python .
- Deep understanding of security concepts, IT systems, and infrastructure.
- Experience in leading projects or teams (team leadership experience is a plus).
- Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to deliver results without extensive onboarding.
Preferred Skills
- 15+ years of IT experience is highly desirable, even if not all in cybersecurity.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or product-specific certifications) are a strong plus.
- Experience in regulated industries such as finance.
