Virtual Community of Care Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Virtual Community of Care Coordinator based in Canada. This role supports a virtual community designed to connect healthcare professionals with resources, employment opportunities, and community support. You will coordinate engagement across an online platform while providing responsive guidance to registrants and helping them navigate relevant opportunities. The position combines community building, stakeholder engagement, workforce development, and program coordination. You will build relationships with healthcare employers and partners to strengthen employment pathways in Northern and rural Ontario. The role also involves monitoring engagement, developing digital content, and identifying ways to improve the participant experience. This is an opportunity to contribute to a healthcare workforce initiative focused on supporting professionals and communities across Northern and rural regions. Accountabilities: - Communicate directly with registrants, provide timely support, respond to inquiries, and guide participants toward relevant virtual community resources and opportunities. - Support the program’s objective of connecting healthcare professionals with employment resources, opportunities, and community supports. - Moderate and actively engage with registrants on the online platform on a daily basis, fostering a welcoming, collaborative, and supportive community. - Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare employers, partners, and other stakeholders to promote employment opportunities in Northern and rural communities. - Develop and implement engagement strategies and social-media-style content designed to increase participation, retention, and peer-to-peer interaction within the virtual community. - Monitor community activity and engagement metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements that enhance the registrant experience and support program objectives. - Provide administrative, reporting, and coordination support to ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of the virtual community platform. - Help strengthen connections between healthcare professionals, employers, community partners, and available resources across Northern and rural Ontario.

Requirements - Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Education, Health Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - 3–5 years of experience in program coordination, community engagement, recruitment, human resources, or a related field. - Current or previous lived experience in Northern Ontario is highly preferred. - Strong knowledge of recruitment, talent attraction, and workforce development strategies, preferably within the healthcare sector. - Experience managing online communities, social media platforms, or digital engagement tools, with a demonstrated ability to build and sustain participant engagement. - Experience providing support to clients, learners, registrants, or stakeholders in a virtual environment. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships with healthcare professionals, employers, and community partners. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems. - Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. - Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to evolving program needs and priorities. - Strong interest in healthcare workforce development and the needs of Northern and rural communities. Benefits - Contract, full-time position through March 31, 2027 . - Compensation of $31. 15–$38. 94 per hour . - 35-hour work week.
