Join Red Deer Memorial Centre as a reliable Facility Assistant. This part-time role emphasizes maintenance, cleaning, and event support for a vibrant community theatre. As a Facility Assistant, you will work approximately 20–25 hours weekly, ensuring the theatre and surrounding grounds are well-maintained and ready for events. Your responsibilities will include post-show cleaning, building maintenance, and assisting with event preparations. We seek detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a proactive environment, working independently to support the Operations Manager and Venue Manager. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform post-show and facility cleaning
- Conduct general building and theatre maintenance
- Handle minor repairs, painting, and carpentry
- Maintain theatre seating and lawn care
- Assist with event setup and breakdown
- Experience in cleaning and facility maintenance
- Skills in painting and minor repairs are an asset
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week
