Director of Legal Practice Innovation

McMillan seeks a Director of Practice Delivery & Innovation to transform legal services. This leadership role focuses on redefining workflows and integrating technology in law clerk and paralegal functions. In this strategic position, you will lead a team of 80 professionals at McMillan LLP, pioneering innovative service models and enhancing client value across practice areas. This position requires a deep understanding of legal operations and practice management to create scalable solutions that adapt to evolving client needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Set strategic direction for law clerk and paralegal operations
- Design innovative delivery models for enhanced service quality
- Identify and integrate legal technologies for improved workflows
- Establish performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Champion change management across operational teams
- LLB or JD required; active practice not necessary
- Seven years in legal operations or practice management
- Experience with legal support teams and technology integration
- Strong leadership and change management skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
