Therapeutic Specialist, Gynecology & Gastroenterology

AbbVie Canada seeks a Therapeutic Specialist for its Gynecology & Gastroenterology commercial sales team covering Alberta and Manitoba. The role involves developing business strategies, executing sales plans, and building relationships with specialists treating endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and various constipation-related conditions.

Responsibilities

Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets to meet business objectives
Develop and execute call plans targeting gynecologists and gastroenterologists across territory
Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations to improve sales effectiveness
Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers and disease state experts
Gather and share market intelligence with district manager and cross-functional teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Commerce, or equivalent
3-5 years specialty pharmaceutical sales experience; gynecology preferred
Proven track record in sales with strong presentation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual platforms
Valid driver's license and passport; 50% travel required
Strategic thinking and business acumen with matrix environment experience
