Care assistant
$22 per hourFull-time
We are looking for an experienced Care assistant to provide full-time, live-out support in a private home, starting from 01.09.2026. This position is suited to someone confident in hands-on personal care and experienced in supporting a person requiring quad/paraplegic care. The role will involve morning and evening support every day of the week, with a workload of approximately 40–50 hours per week. Main responsibilities include bathing assistance, bed baths, dressing and grooming assistance, toileting assistance, lifts and transfers, catheter/colostomy care, and range of motion exercises. We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and attentive person who is comfortable providing dignified, respectful daily care and physical support. Previous experience in similar senior or health care work is highly valued. A driver’s license is not required for this role. If needed, the family can provide a car for exclusive use.
