Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow a recipe to accurately load powders, resins, solvents and other materials into mixers
• Operate mixers and mills used to manufacture printing ink following detailed SOP’s
• Lifting, loading and stacking of pails up to 20 kgs onto pallets
• Arrange empty containers according to customer requirement or as specified on the batch ticket.
• (includes drums, Tote Bins & Pails)
• Prepare/print labels with batch number, item desc., lot # and weight; and affix to each container.
• Use of forklift, walkies and drum-lifter as necessary
• Effective written and oral communication skills, and basic computer knowledge
• Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
• General knowledge of WHMIS
• Adhering to all policies and procedures including ISO and GMP
• Other duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Able to safely and repeatedly, pull and carry heavy items
• Able to work quickly on a consistent basis throughout the shift
• Energetic, self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance
• Previous manufacturing experience in a similar environment is an asset
• Forklift license an asset
• Flexibility to work on rotating shifts based on business requirements
• A high school diploma is preferred
