Part-Time Accountant (3 Days per Week)
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) . This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working independently and keeping financial operations organized and accurate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring our books are up to date and compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform bookkeeping and reconcile bank/credit card accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
- Prepare and organize documents for tax filings
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Work with management to monitor financial performance and budgets
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- CPA designation or accounting certification is an asset but not required
