Assistant Store Manager JD Sports
JD Sports Canada
Lead customer experience and sales at JD Sports’ CF Rideau Centre store in Ottawa, working full-time, permanently, and on-site. Coach teams while driving retail results.
As Assistant Store Manager, you will support store leadership through scheduling, inventory maintenance, and employee performance evaluation. The role combines team development, product knowledge, merchandising, visual standards, and operational excellence. You will help deliver JD Sports’ premium retail experience through coaching, feedback, and community connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and motivate teams to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Drive sales, business results, and key performance indicators
- Schedule staff, maintain inventory, and evaluate employee performance
- Support merchandising, visual, operational, and customer experience expectations
- Partner with Store Manager on key business initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of retail experience
- Supervisory, sales associate training, and coaching experience
- Knowledge of streetwear, sneakers, products, and current trends
- Strong cognitive, mathematical, decision-making, and financial analysis skills
- Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
