With a large ongoing project west of Calgary, continuous projects in south Calgary and Foothills County we are currently looking to expand our tight-knit Crew.

Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated and Skilled Labourers for our residential and construction projects most specifically for our ongoing project west of Calgary and South Calgary. The ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic and a diverse skill set in construction and maintenance tasks. This role is essential for supporting various projects at a time, ensuring quality workmanship and contributing to the overall success of our operations. This is a seasonal position with the potential to earn a continuous position.

Responsibilities

• Perform/Assist with all exterior construction tasks as noted below:
• Pick-off/drop-off materials for projects
• Concrete forming and pouring
• Install and secure rebar, set forms for footings and work with ICF wall systems
• Framing, installation, and finishing work.
• Roofing, including solar panel installation
• Operate construction tools and equipment (ie. jackhammers, concrete mixers, power tools) safely and efficiently
• Carpentry tasks and structural work
• Lay tiles with precision for flooring and wall applications.
• Restore surfaces and structures as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute project specifications accurately.
• Plumb fixtures and structures to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
• Execute concrete forming tasks for foundations, slabs, and other structures.
• Install various types of flooring, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps for weatherproofing and insulation.
• Adhere to all Safety Protocols
• Participate with daily Safety Meetings

Essential Qualifications:

• 3-5 minimum Construction Experience
• Proficiency in carpentry
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
• Experience as a carpenter with knowledge of framing and finishing
• Ability to perform construction estimating effectively.
• Knowledgeable in restoration techniques for various materials.
• Strong capability in blueprint reading for accurate project execution.
• Familiarity with basic plumbing principles related to construction tasks.
• Familiarity with basic electrical principles related to construction tasks.
• Experience in concrete forming processes.
• Competence in flooring installation across different materials.
• Proficient in caulking applications for sealing purposes.
• Solar Panel Installation (not required, but ideal)
• Valid Drivers Licence and Reliable Vehicle

Training:

• Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA)
• Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-09 or CSTS 2020 Fundamentals)
• Fall Protection Training
• First Aid/CPR

Additional Information:

Wage: Starting wage is based on experience and is paid every other Friday.

Seasonal Role: With opportunity for continuous position.

Opportunity: Overtime pay during peak project season and position advancement.

Education : Ongoing training provided.

Projects: Based mainly in South Calgary and Foothills typically, but currently our large project is west of Calgary (35 minutes).

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
