With a large ongoing project west of Calgary, continuous projects in south Calgary and Foothills County we are currently looking to grow our leadership team and invite experienced leaders to join us driving Alberta's construction projects forward.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Site Supervisor to lead our 3-4 person Crew on residential and commercial projects in South Calgary, Foothills County and on our west of Calgary. This is a seasonal position with the potential to earn a continuous position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Management Team (Project Lead/Project Manager) on project schedule, project roll-out, project timelines, project needs, project management and execution
• Develop daily work plans based on project blueprints, schedules, priorities, ensuring alignment with RenoLINC™'s quality standards
• Lead a Crew of 3-4 Team Members, assigning daily project tasks to execute project starts, over-see project from start to completion
• Monitor and maintain project schedule, adjusting tasks and resources to meet project deadlines
• Perform material take-offs
• Coordinate material with Project Lead/Manager to ensure all materials are ready daily for projects
• Coordinate with Trade Partners, Inspectors and to facilitate smooth project execution
• Liason with Homeowner as needed to ensure they are informed and updated daily with project
• Operate tools and equipment, perform work as needed to support your Crew
• Ensure at all times project site is clean, organized, safe and hazard free
• Adhere to all Safety Protocols
• Conduct daily Safety Team Meetings

Essential Qualifications:

• 5-7 years minimum Construction Experience
• 2-3 years minimum is a Supervisory or Lead Role managing small teams
• Proficiency in Carpentry
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must have computer skills
• Familiarity with construction management software or tools for scheduling and takeoffs
• Experience with all construction tools and equipment
• Experience as a carpenter with knowledge of framing and finishing
• Ability to perform construction estimating effectively
• Strong capability in blueprint reading for accurate project execution.
• Familiarity with basic plumbing principles related to construction tasks.
• Familiarity with basic electrical principles related to construction tasks.
• Experience in concrete forming processes
• Experience supervising concrete work (forming, pouring, ICF systems), framing, roofing, flooring, solar panel installation
• Valid Drivers Licence and Reliable Vehicle

Training:

• Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA)
• Construction Safety Training System (CSTS-09 or CSTS 2020 Fundamentals)
• Fall Protection Training
• First Aid/CPR
• Any leadership courses

Additional Information:

Wage: Starting wage is based on experience and is paid every other Friday.

Seasonal Role: With opportunity for continuous position.

Education : Ongoing training provided.

Projects: Based mainly in South Calgary and Foothills typically, but currently our large project is west of Calgary (35 minutes).

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

• Weekends as needed
