Apprentice Technician (construction )

Job Responsibility:

Overview Our Client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice , construction material installation Technician, to join their team of installers . This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills and grow in the construction industry while working alongside experienced professionals. As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience and knowledge in various installation and repair , contributing to the efficient operation of our services

Duties

• Assist in the installation and repair of materials under the supervision of a certified technician (s).
• Perform routine maintenance
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Support the team in heavy lifting
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Learn and apply knowledge to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on job sites

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge or a strong interest in construction and glass industry preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during repairs and maintenance. and not afraid if heights
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction
• A valid driver's license is required; a clean driving record is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
• Excellent communication skills in Both English and French and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
