The Bell Brand and Marketing Communications team is at the forefront of driving Bell’s market leadership. Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, the Vice President, AI Marketing and Marcomm Automation will lead Bell’s transition to an AI‑first marketing organization. This executive will act as both a strategic leader and brand practitioner, ensuring Bell’s brand promise “Connection is Everything” is consistently delivered across all customer interactions, and harness emerging AI, automation, and advanced marketing technologies to transform planning, creation, and execution.
Job Duties / Accountabilities
- Brand Leadership & Practitioner Mindset – Act as steward and practitioner of the Bell brand, ensuring consistent expression of the brand promise, embedding brand principles into AI systems, workflows, and decision‑making.
- Strategic Marketing & Communications Leadership – Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned to enterprise priorities, lead multi‑channel campaigns, and partner cross‑functionally for go‑to‑market initiatives.
- AI‑Enabled Marketing Transformation – Champion end‑to‑end integration of AI agents and automation, redefining the marketing operating model and partnering with MarTech and Data teams.
- Media, Performance & Commercial Impact – Lead media strategists and digital activation experts, implement AI‑driven measurement frameworks, and focus on insight‑driven performance management.
- Operational Excellence & Productivity – Identify and realize productivity gains through automation, optimize large‑scale marketing budgets, and ensure disciplined investment decisions.
- Leadership & Enterprise Collaboration – Inspire a high‑performing team, partner with internal stakeholders and agencies, and lead enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives.
Essential Qualifications / Competencies
- 15+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in Marketing, MarTech, AdTech, Brand Leadership, or Digital Transformation at an enterprise level.
- Proven track record of integrating brand strategy with modern marketing technologies, ensuring consistency and impact across complex, multi‑channel environments.
- Expertise in integrated marketing communications, including campaign strategy, media planning, digital marketing, and brand positioning.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business outcomes through creative marketing strategies and data‑driven insights.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Significant experience managing and optimizing multi‑million‑dollar marketing, creative, and media budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or relevant field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is a strong asset.
- Deep expertise in AI, Generative AI, and automation technologies, with demonstrated success deploying these capabilities within marketing ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of the full marketing lifecycle: strategy, briefing, creative development, media planning/buying, deployment, and analytics.
- Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
