# Full-Time Housekeeper / Household Assistant **Location:** North Saanich, BC We are a busy family looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper / Household Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating a clean, organized home and takes pride in their work. This is a long-term position for someone who is trustworthy, proactive, and able to work independently.

• # Responsibilities
• ## Housekeeping

• Deep cleaning and regular cleaning of the home
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Changing bed linens
• Organizing closets, cupboards, and storage areas
• Keeping the home tidy and well maintained

### Laundry

• Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry
• Ironing clothing as needed
• Caring for delicate garments
• Keeping children's clothing and rooms organized

### Meal Preparation

• Grocery shopping
• Meal planning and preparation for the family
• Kitchen cleanup after meal preparation
• Keeping the pantry and refrigerator organized

### Household Support

• General household organization
• Light errands as needed
• Cleaning and tidying outdoor living areas as appropriate
• Washing and vacuuming family vehicles when required
• Assisting with seasonal cleaning projects

### Pet Care

• Walking our friendly dogs
• Keeping pet areas clean
• Refilling food and water as needed

### Children This role is **primarily housekeeping**, not childcare. However, the successful candidate should be comfortable working in a family home where children are present. Duties may occasionally include keeping children's rooms tidy, organizing toys, and caring for children's laundry. ## We're Looking For Someone Who Is

• Honest, dependable, and punctual
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable around dogs
• Physically able to perform deep cleaning and household tasks
• Has previous housekeeping or household management experience
• Has a valid driver's licence (preferred)

## Schedule Flexible. Full-time or part-time hours can be discussed with the right candidate. ## Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
