As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.

Hatch is seeking an experienced and strategic client engagement training professional to join our Global Client Action Team, supporting business development and winning work efforts across North America.

Our global team of professionals brings expertise in client engagement, pursuit management, marketing, engineering, and project delivery. While our backgrounds are diverse, our goal is singular: helping Hatch teams strengthen client relationships, enhance their pursuit capabilities, and improve their effectiveness in winning work.

In this role, you will be based in our Mississauga, Ontario corporate headquarters and will work closely with business leaders, account managers, project professionals, and doer-sellers across North America. Your primary focus will be to develop and deliver client engagement learning programs and sales coaching that help Hatch professionals build stronger client relationships, improve presentation effectiveness, strengthen account management practices, and enhance pursuit readiness.

Working within the Client Engagement stream of the Client Action Team, you will partner closely with Client Engagement Directors, Proposal Specialists, and Pursuit Governance professionals to equip teams with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to succeed throughout the client engagement and pursuit lifecycle.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Lead delivery of Hatch’s client engagement learning and development programs.
• Partner with business leaders and peers to identify client engagement skill gaps and deliver targeted interventions.
• Design and facilitate interactive workshops, boot camps, and learning experiences focused on client engagement, account management, presentation excellence, and winning work practices.
• Facilitate account planning workshops and provide practical guidance on relationship building best practices.
• Support pursuit teams by facilitating strategy workshops, client engagement planning sessions, and pursuit readiness reviews.
• Lead delivery of presentation skills training and interview preparation programs to help teams communicate effectively with clients and selection panels.
• Measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities to continuously improve learning outcomes and organizational capability.
• Serve as a trusted partner to Business Unit leadership, helping build client engagement and winning work capabilities across their teams.
• Collaborate with Proposal and Pursuit Governance teams to ensure advice and coaching reflects Hatch methodologies, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Act as an ambassador for the Client Action Team and promote best practices in client engagement and pursuit excellence throughout the business.
• Answer basic questions regarding other Client Action Team services, including CRM, pursuit governance, and proposal support.

You bring to the role:

• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Adult Education, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in client engagement, business development, account management, commercial leadership, professional services, engineering consulting, organizational development, learning and development, or a related field.
• An innate passion for winning work and helping others succeed.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive change without direct authority.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating professional learning programs, workshops, and training initiatives for adult learners.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and group engagement skills.
• Deep understanding of what drives successful client engagement and winning work in professional services environments.
• Experience in one or more of Hatch's core industries, including Metals, Energy, Infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Strong business acumen combined with high emotional intelligence.
• Experience working directly with clients and developing business relationships is considered an asset.
• Bilingualism in French and English is considered a strong asset.

Base salary range: $120,000 - $165,000

At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.

Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
