Brix & Mortar in Yaletown is looking for an experienced Junior Sous / Senior Lead CDP to join our team. All positions require applicants to have a passion for making quality food and keeping a great work environment. Applicants must have an attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
Job requirements: • Committed to excellence and driven to succeed
• Assist with creation of new menu ideas as and when required
• Ensures adherence to all culinary standards
• Performs food prep and cooks on the line. Leading when necessary
• Maintains set standards around Health & Safety
• A strong willingness to learn and develop ones skills
• Stable work history. Previous work references are to be provided.
• 2-3 years experience in similar environment and cuisine
• An ability to stay positive when under duress
• Red Seal or equivalent in experience • An ability to lead by example with a strong work ethic
