As a Purchasing Manager, you will oversee daily operations of the purchasing team, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Collaborate with various departments to identify and source products that meet company specifications. Your leadership will help maintain balanced inventory levels and execute strategic purchasing decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily purchasing team operations and mentoring
- Source products in line with quality and cost specifications
- Evaluate inventory levels and coordinate stock transfers
- Monitor purchases and budgets to ensure accuracy
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management
- 5+ years of management experience in purchasing
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong vendor relationship management skills
- Knowledge of greenhouse produce industry preferred
