Applications Analyst for EMR Enhancements

Elevate your career at Mackenzie Health as an Applications Analyst focusing on EMR enhancements. Leverage your clinical expertise to support and improve electronic medical records.
In this role, you will work under the Manager of Clinical Informatics and engage with both clinical and non-clinical partners to enhance the EMR system. Your focus will include troubleshooting user issues, coordinating system testing, and leading training initiatives to ensure effective use of the software across clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support end users with EMR issues and queries
• Participate in software upgrades and testing phases
• Create and manage training environments and documentation
• Collaborate with clinical staff on EMR system improvements
• Ensure data quality and user security compliance
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in health informatics or relevant field
• Current EPIC certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on EMR experience
• Excellent communication and conflict-management skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a healthcare setting
