Position Overview: The Operations Manager at WD SWIM School is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning across staffing, pool management, cash handling, customer service, retail and vending, private events, and employee activities. This role plays a key part in driving financial success, achieving revenue targets as outlined in the annual budget, and fostering a motivated and high-performing team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years in a management role

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Organizational Leadership:

• Manage multiple tasks and situations efficiently, ensuring the school runs smoothly and adheres to WD Swim's operational standards.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring all staff are aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead and supervise a team to maintain high levels of productivity, performance, and job satisfaction.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and hiring processes to secure top-tier talent.

Leadership & Team Motivation:

• Lead by example, serving as a role model to staff members.
• Conduct weekly meetings with the management team to facilitate communication and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Manage a team of 35-50 employees, providing support, direction, and professional development.
• Organize workplace activities aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

• Guide and motivate the sales team to meet enrollment and revenue goals.
• Foster a culture of engagement that helps achieve sales targets and financial success.
• Ensure the front desk team is well-versed in WD Swim's programs, offering detailed information about swim lessons.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee training to ensure staff consistently follow WD Swim's standard operating procedures.
• Address and resolve personnel issues in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with Supervisors to resolve scheduling, student progress, customer service, and employee performance concerns.
• Gain proficiency in scheduling software to manage class schedules, bookings, and reporting effectively.

Customer Service:

• Promote a welcoming and professional environment that enhances the quality of service provided to families, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
