Receptionist

Are you a polished, professional Receptionist who enjoys creating an exceptional first impression? TalentWorld is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious corporate client for a 1-year contract Receptionist opportunity in the Markham/Thornhill area.

What You'll Be Doing

As the first point of contact for visitors and employees, you will play a key role in representing the organization with professionalism and confidence.
Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, and vendors

• Answering and directing inquiries in a courteous and professional manner

• Managing incoming and outgoing mail and parcel deliveries

• Maintaining office inventory and restocking supplies as needed

• Preparing minor reports and completing administrative tasks

• Filing and organizing office documents

• Supporting internal communications across departments

• Assisting with other general administrative duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Administrator, or Administrative Assistant

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

• A highly professional and polished demeanor

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

• High attention to detail and confidentiality

Experience using:

• Microsoft Outlook

• Microsoft Word

• Microsoft Excel

• Microsoft PowerPoint

• Adobe Acrobat PDF

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday to Friday

• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Paid lunch

• Occasional might be required (30 minutes to 1 hour depending on business meetings). OT after 44 hours per week. 

• Free on-site parking

Thornhill/Markham Area (near Highway 404 & Highway 7)
