Business Development Engagement Coordinator (BDC)

Gyro Auto Group is currently seeking a dedicated Business Development Customer Engagement Coordinator (BDC) to become a valuable part of our team! The BDC Agent acts as the primary point of contact and representative for our customers. They act as a connection point between the customer and the sales department, taking charge of inbound business opportunities and promoting conversions into qualified appointments.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead Management : Handling inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and online inquiries.
  • Appointment Setting : Scheduling appointments for potential and existing customers.
  • Follow-Up : Conducting follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction and to nurture leads.
  • Sales Coordination : Assisting the sales team by managing and distributing leads, and ensuring proper follow-up.
  • Customer Information : Collecting and inputting customer information into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Product Knowledge : Maintaining an understanding of the products and services offered to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Relationship Building: Build trust and maintain a solid business relationship with customers.
  • Identify Business Opportunities : Discover opportunities for renewals and new business through frequent interactions with dealership customers.
  • Participate in Team Activities : Engage in team meetings, workshops, and individual development sessions.
  • Additional Responsibilities : Perform any other assigned tasks as needed.

Skills Required:

  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to handle and resolve customer issues in a professional manner.
  • High Volume Phone Contact : Capable of managing a substantial call volume, handling a minimum of 40-60 calls per day.
  • Adaptability and Drive : Quick learner who thrives on challenges, exhibiting strong determination and motivation.
  • Positive Attitude and Outgoing Personality : Possesses an outgoing, positive demeanor, projecting a ‘smile' through phone interactions; fully understands and applies best practice guidelines for outbound and inbound calls, emails, and campaigns.
