About the Opportunity

As part of our continued growth and commercial restructuring, Donald's Fine Foods has created a new Vice President, Domestic Sales role to provide dedicated executive leadership over our domestic commercial operations. This is a highly visible, newly established position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The VP, Domestic Sales will own DFF's domestic revenue performance, gross margin, and customer portfolio strategy across retail, foodservice, industrial, and direct store delivery channels. The successful candidate will lead the Mitchell Island sales organization and serve as the principal architect of DFF's domestic commercial growth strategy.

Key Areas of Accountability

• Domestic revenue and gross margin growth across all DFF brands and channels
• Strategic development and management of major retail, foodservice, and national accounts
• Sales forecasting discipline and cross-functional alignment with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance
• Commercial governance including pricing execution, contract negotiation, and margin integrity
• Leadership, development, and accountability of the domestic sales team

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership, including at least five years in a senior or executive commercial role within food manufacturing or food processing.

They will have a demonstrated track record of revenue and margin growth in a complex, multi-brand, multi-channel environment, with deep experience across Canadian retail, foodservice, and industrial segments.

Strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to build trust with customers, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership are essential. Experience in specialty or value-added meat processing is a significant asset. A bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field is required; an MBA is considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $200,000 to $250,000, commensurate with experience
• Performance bonus tied to commercial results

Location and Travel

Approximately 25% to 35% travel to DFF facilities across BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan and to customer locations across Canada
