Territory Sales Manager, Dual - Victoria/Duncan (United Division)

Job Description Summary

Breakthru Beverage Canada (BBC) is a leading Sales Broker in Canada, representing top suppliers. This role focuses on territory management in the Nanaimo‑to‑Victoria stretch, primarily in Duncan and Victoria with additional trips to Nanaimo twice a month.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory coverage, ensuring excellent execution and meeting or exceeding service expectations.
• Plan daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities with quota and distribution objectives.
• Maintain and grow existing volume and distribution by building long‑term relationships with on‑premise and off‑premise accounts.
• Manage assigned budget as required.
• Conduct product tastings, education sessions, and leverage the company’s Structured Call methodology for sales calls.
• Report on competitive activities and provide constructive suggestions.
• Prospect, quantify, and qualify new accounts to determine fit with the brand portfolio.
• Provide product and brand marketing knowledge through sales aides and staff training seminars.
• Collaborate with supplier representatives and field management to promote sales and improve marketability through shelf management, display position, concept selling, and price point management.
• Ensure distribution of brands in key purchasing areas of accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of selling experience in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment.
• Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, communication, negotiation, influencing, judgment, and problem‑solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of the sale and marketing of wine & spirits, and of Liquor Board regulations, market trends, and competition.
• Proficient MS Office skills.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 – $65,000
