Role Overview:
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working with a dynamic fintech client based in Toronto. This hybrid role allows you to collaborate with a global team, designing and developing innovative solutions while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Design optimal, efficient, and scalable solutions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve the processes, practices, and tools used by your team and management.
- Requirement Analysis: Analyze functional and non-functional specifications from business stakeholders for application and system development or evolution requests.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in the development of testing strategies and ensure the quality of deliverables in accordance with best practices.
Required Skills:
- Databases: Hands-on experience with ORACLE / MYSQL.
- Development Tools: Practical experience with GitHub, Gradle, and IntelliJ.
- Operating Systems: Experience with Linux.
- CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins and Concourse.
- Programming: Experience in Java development.
- Frameworks: Experience with Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, Spring MVC frameworks.
- Coding Standards: Practical experience with clean code and secure coding principles as recommended by OWASP.
- Language Requirement: Advanced French & English
