Gerdau Energy Management Specialist

Lead Gerdau's strategic energy management as the Regional Energy Manager, ensuring cost-effective supply solutions for all facilities. Focus on procurement excellence and effective vendor partnerships. In this vital role, the Regional Energy Manager will navigate the complexities of energy supply across multiple regions. Candidates must bring 5-7 years of experience in energy markets and procurement practices, coupled with a strong background in the steel industry. Responsibilities include analyzing consumption trends and collaborating with plant management to implement efficient supply arrangements. Key Responsibilities:
- Secure competitive supply contracts for energy needs
- Analyze market conditions and identify emerging opportunities
- Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors
- Work closely with management to ensure operational efficiency
- Address and resolve supply-related issues promptly
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience in energy sector
- Knowledge of utility regulations and market dynamics
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Proven negotiation and analytical skills
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams
