DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud‑based solutions for our applications.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with application developers and cross‑functional teams to design and implement scalable, high‑performance cloud solutions.
- Scale and optimize cloud infrastructure with a focus on data and storage layers to support rapid growth.
- Maintain rigorous reliability, security, and compliance standards, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Analyze, debug, and triage incident tickets; resolve complex production issues—including infrastructure failures, performance bottlenecks, system latency, and IaaS disruptions—while implementing preventive measures.
Qualifications
- A university degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of full‑time software engineering industry experience.
- Proficiency with Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server administration and monitoring.
- Experience with MySQL, MSSQL, or MongoDB.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes (GKE, AKS).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a self‑driven approach to learning new tools and frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
- Ability to build trust with stakeholders and drive initiatives to successful completion.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Crossplane or ArgoCD.
- Experience in Agile teams with Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana.
- Exposure to HashiCorp Vault and HashiCorp Boundary.
- Beginner certification in Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Full‑stack development, data engineering, or software testing experience.
- The salary range for this role is $85,000 – $115,000.

This is a hybrid role based in Mississauga, Ontario.
