As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Business Development Representative – North America to support our growth across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven and relationship-focused business development professional with strong mining industry knowledge. In this role, you will be responsible for building Globe 24-7’s market presence, identifying new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with prospective clients, industry stakeholders and key decision-makers across the North American mining sector.

As one of the first points of contact for prospective clients and external stakeholders, you will represent Globe 24-7 with professionalism, credibility and a strong understanding of the mining industry. This role will involve regular regional travel, including client meetings, mine site visits, industry events and networking opportunities.

What you’ll do

  • Drive business development activity across Canada, the United States and Mexico, helping grow Globe 24-7’s market share and revenue across the region.
  • Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry.
  • Use consultative sales techniques to understand client needs and promote appropriate Globe 24-7 recruitment, talent and workforce solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, existing clients, senior mining leaders, industry associations, higher education institutions and other key stakeholders.
  • Represent Globe 24-7 at industry events, conferences, client meetings and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, pipeline progression and client engagement through the company CRM.
  • Work closely with Globe 24-7’s leadership and delivery teams to support a collaborative, aligned and high-quality client experience.
  • Uphold a professional image, communication style and approach that reflects Globe 24-7’s reputation and values.

What you bring

  • Significant experience (minimum 7 years) in sales, business development or client relationship management, ideally within a technical or specialist industry.
  • Strong mining industry experience and an established understanding of the North American mining sector.
  • A degree in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute business development plans across a defined region or territory.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify client needs and match solutions accordingly.
  • Ability to read the audience and adjust tempo and messaging accordingly, regardless of size of prospect company or size of opportunity.
  • Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders, prospective clients, industry organisations and internal teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the business professionally and credibly.
  • High attention to detail, strong listening skills and the ability to think critically and resolve issues proactively.
  • Strong organisational skills, follow-through and the ability to work independently while remaining connected to a global team.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, CRM platforms and emerging technologies.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and attend industry events or client meetings as required.

Work Environment, Travel & Physical Requirements

This role requires regular business travel across Canada, the United States and Mexico, including travel by air and land. Regional travel is expected to average approximately 30–40% and may include attendance at client meetings, industry events and mine site visits.

When attending client or mine sites, the successful candidate will be required to comply with all relevant site safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment where required.

The physical requirements of this role may include regular sitting and standing, occasional walking on uneven ground or in enclosed spaces, occasional kneeling, and occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 25 pounds.
