Warehouse Worker II

Warehouse Worker II position at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Edmonton, Alberta involves operating material handling equipment, managing inventory systems, and processing orders in a hazardous materials warehouse. The role operates Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with exposure to demanding physical and environmental conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment safely in hazardous product warehouse
- Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, and ship orders using RF and computer systems
- Update warehouse and transportation management systems via remote devices
- Follow GMP, hazardous materials, dangerous goods, and WHMIS compliance procedures
- Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED minimum
- 1 year general warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift or lower goods up to 50 lbs. from waist level
- Qualified forklift, order picker, or reach truck operator
- Basic computer knowledge and RF device proficiency
- Good interpersonal skills and independent work capability
Compensation: $22.00-$22.50 per hour
