Right now, we are looking to hire a Senior ERP System Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team, based out of our Calgary office.
AS OUR SENIOR ERP SYSTEM ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO:
- Maintain GP Dynamics financial modules (AP, AR, GL, reporting)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
- Monitor financial data accuracy and perform reconciliations
- Conduct audits for data integrity and process improvements
- Collaborate on system enhancements and workflow optimizations
- Generate financial reports for management decisions
- Resolve ERP technical issues and liaise with IT/vendors
- Provide audit support and perform additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- Related university degree (Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting, Finance or Business Management) and typically 8 or more years of related professional accounting experience; or combination of formal education and experience.
- Proven experience with Microsoft GP Dynamics (& D365) in a financial or accounting capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of GP Dynamics tables and Wennsoft products.
- Experience in project management or process improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of federal and provincial legislation and taxes.
