About the role:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Field Operations, the Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of operations on assigned job sites. They oversee work teams, coordinate subcontractor activities, and ensure compliance with plans, schedules, and safety standards on site.
Key Responsibilities
- :Ensure proper planning of work on the job site
- ;Maintain a constant presence on site to supervise work and resolve technical issues
- ;Supervise and lead work teams, including both subcontractors and JCB employees
- ;Plan requirements for materials, equipment, and labor
- ;Update project schedules
- ;Work collaboratively with the Project Manager
- ;Inform the Project Manager of any major changes that could impact the project
- ;Monitor and control labor hours (both internal and contracted) and submit time reports to the payroll department
- ;Welcome all site stakeholders in accordance with established health and safety procedures
- ;Ensure all activities comply with the company’s health and safety standards
- ;Review subcontractors’ safety and prevention documentation
- ;Take weekly photos to document project progress
- ;Maintain documentation of work progress by completing daily reports
- ;Perform any other related duties as required

Required Qualification
- s:Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in construction or a related fiel
- d;Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial, industrial, or institutional project
- s;Broad experience with new construction, major renovations, and large-scale interior fit-out
- s;Experience supervising large-scale projects ($10M+
- );Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office tool
