Operations Manager for Heavy Equipment

Lead a major remanufacturing facility in Edmonton, Alberta as an Operations Manager. This role requires strategic leadership, with significant impact on safety and quality at a national heavy equipment dealer. You will oversee all operations at a facility dedicated to rebuilding components for mining and construction. With a leadership team of five to seven, you will manage a site with around 200 employees. Your role involves making key decisions influencing a nine-figure operation, ensuring safety, throughput, quality, and budget efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a multi-disciplinary team across various functions
- Enhance safety, quality, and operational throughput
- Manage operating budgets end-to-end for the site
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles for efficiency
- 7-10 years in operations management
- Experience in manufacturing or remanufacturing fields
- Proven leadership of skilled trades and production teams
- Track record in Lean Manufacturing practices
- Post-secondary education in business or engineering
