Pasta Maker

Occhiolino, located at Bathurst and College Street, is a modern Italian restaurant rooted in fresh, house-made pasta, intimate dining, and warm, thoughtful hospitality.

We are looking for a Pasta Maker (Pastaio) to join our team, supporting the production of fresh, handmade pasta.

This is a hands-on production role for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, takes pride in consistency and quality, and is interested in the craft of traditional pasta making.

Who You Are

• Experience making fresh pasta is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, production-focused environment
• Reliable, organized and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

What You’ll Do

• Prepare fresh pasta dough according to established recipes and standards
• Roll, cut, shape and portion a variety of fresh pastas
• Support daily production requirements for wholesale orders
• Accurately weigh, portion, package and label finished products
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation and food safety procedures
