Director, Construction Procurement Strategy at Alto

Position yourself at the forefront of Canada’s infrastructure transformation as Alto’s Director of Construction Procurement Strategy. This role focuses on strategic engagement, procurement efficiency, and hybrid work flexibility. The Director plays a critical role in executing the procurement strategies for Alto's high-speed train project, reporting directly to the Vice-President. Your leadership will encompass market intelligence, labor strategy, and industry engagement to ensure competitive project delivery. With a focus on alignment and strategy, you will engage deeply with construction market dynamics. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engagement with construction industry leaders
- Implement procurement strategies according to project needs
- Analyze contractor capacity and market conditions
- Cultivate relationships for workforce mobility and training
- Advise on contracting strategies for optimal delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of 15 years in procurement
- At least 10 years in construction industry experience
- Strong knowledge of logistics planning and cost strategies
- Credible communication at executive levels
