Junior Endpoint Security Specialist Toronto

Join Insight Global as a Junior Endpoint Security Specialist, working hybrid in Scarborough or downtown Toronto. Support critical microsegmentation to enhance network visibility and endpoint protection in a banking environment. This role focuses on an initiative to improve endpoint security and network visibility for a large banking client over a 12-month contract. You will be pivotal in executing a proof of concept while partnering with teams to analyze security data and define segmentation strategies for ATM environments. Focus your skills on endpoint hardening and monitoring for effective security implementations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in kick-off and execution of the proof of concept
- Analyze security data for endpoint segmentation strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams for full-scale rollout
- Support endpoint security implementations and monitoring tools
- Enhance visibility and protect devices from threats
- 2+ years in security operations or IT engineering
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Hands-on knowledge of EDR/AV tools like CrowdStrike
- Skills in problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with endpoint security implementations
