Position Summary
Temple Gardens Centre is currently seeking casual
Event Security personnel to join its security team.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.50 - $16.00 CAD
Benefits for Part-Time roles: Pension matching.
This position will remain open until September 18, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Secures all venue entrances.
- Performs bag checks and inspections.
- Ensures all public areas are a safe environment for patrons.
- Maintains a comprehensive security logbook.
- Submits fully detailed incident reports for all incidents.
- Enhances customer service.
- Shows commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Works flexible hours as required by event schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Previous security services experience would be an asset.
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Exceptional problem-solving, judgment, and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to be assertive and influential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Courteous and professional manner.
- Strong team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as required by event schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays.
