Field service technician - maintenance / commissioning (m/f/d)

Within the field services department, the incumbent’s primary responsibility is to ensure the installation and commissioning of OPTEL systems at client sites. They also play a key role in maintenance, training, and technical support to guarantee customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Install OPTEL systems at client sites in accordance with established standards;
Carry out mechanical and electrical installation while ensuring compliance with quality standards;
Collaborate with the technical support and factory design team to diagnose and resolve issues;
Prepare complete and accurate installation reports;
Support clients during system qualification;
Perform maintenance and repair on installed systems, as requested by the customer service department;
Produce detailed service reports;
College diploma in electronics, computer science, electromechanics, or related field, or equivalent experience;
Strong knowledge in computer science and electronics;
Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetics industries (asset);
Hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment;
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly;
Strong client orientation and solid teamwork skills;
Availability to travel approximately three weeks per month;
Valid driver’s license and passport;
High curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
