About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support our camp-based mining operations. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics activities to ensure the efficient transportation, storage, and delivery of goods. You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth supply chain operations while building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Planning & Coordination
Develop and manage logistics plans to ensure timely shipping and receiving of materials
Coordinate and track shipments in alignment with site and customer requirements
Shipping & Receiving Oversight
Oversee daily shipping, receiving, and distribution activities
Collaborate with the supply chain team to identify and resolve discrepancies during pre-receiving inspections
Storage & Equipment Management
Coordinate storage solutions and manage site equipment requirements
Continuously improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal project teams
Build and maintain strong working relationships to support seamless operations
Monitoring & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments, completed orders, and logistics activities
Prepare reports on logistics performance, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities
Compliance & Problem Solving
Ensure adherence to company procedures, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards
Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field
Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently in a remote camp environment
What We Offer
Competitive compensation package: $80,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
