As a Pizzaiolo at Baci Ristorante, you’ll play an integral role in our vibrant open-concept kitchen—preparing handcrafted, wood-fired pizzas that are a signature part of our Italian-inspired dining experience. Using fresh, premium ingredients and a traditional wood-burning oven, you’ll combine skill, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver exceptional pizzas with every service.
Preparing and cooking wood-fired pizzas to order with speed, accuracy, and attention to presentation
Executing pizza menu items from start to finish—including dough stretching, topping assembly, oven monitoring, and plating
Maintaining consistent quality and minimizing waste while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Assisting with daily opening and closing responsibilities, including food prep, station organization, and end-of-shift cleaning
Maintaining exceptional standards for cleanliness, food handling, sanitation, and overall kitchen organization
Supporting the upkeep and proper maintenance of the wood-burning oven and all culinary equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Collaborating closely with the culinary team to maintain seamless communication and efficient service during each shift
Following the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef while actively contributing to a positive and supportive kitchen environment
Making a meaningful impact by contributing to memorable guest experiences—one handcrafted pizza at a time
Supporting the kitchen team with other duties as assigned
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, passionate about food, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced kitchen environment where every detail matters.
Experience in restaurants, catering or high volume kitchen environments
Excellent knife skills and deep knowledge of cooking techniques
Experience working with fresh pizza dough and wood fire pizza ovens
Safe Food Handler's Certificate (Required)
Culinary Trade Certification or Read Seal (an asset)
A passion for food and a drive to do your best every shift
