Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Reporting to the Materials Management Team Leader, the incumbent provides day to day transportation services to patients, staff and supplies throughout the Centre.
Beyond day to day transportation services, the incumbent holds the responsibility for the movement of supplies and staff with/without patients on and off site, maintain/clean vehicles, collect monthly mileage/oil change/sharps reports, logs appointments, collect linen/garbage/recycling bags, move/transport furniture, supplies, boxes, equipment, wheelchairs.
Transportation of goods and materials handling.
Supervising staff is an asset.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training is an asset.
Supervisory training is considered an asset.
Driver's license Class IV or higher and bus training is required.

Physically capable of manual labour (heavy and intensive at all times).
Required to work weekend shifts and holidays.
