The Program Manager III independently leads medium-to-large cross-functional technical programs with limited oversight. This role coordinates work across multiple teams and partners with managers and senior managers to translate objectives into executable plans, manage schedules, dependencies, risks, and communications, and drive accountability for successful delivery.
Operating with limited oversight, the Program Manager III builds practical delivery plans, aligns technical and business stakeholders, applies program management and Agile practices, and provides clear visibility into program progress. The role identifies risks, balances competing priorities, manages interdependencies, resolves delivery issues, and escalates when appropriate.
The Program Manager III also contributes to improvements in program execution and team processes by sharing lessons learned, identifying recurring delivery gaps, and helping teams adopt practical, effective ways of working.
