We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. The Senior Technical Program Manager will play a crucial role in driving project success, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality solutions. Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Execution :

-Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables

-Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of programs, meeting technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements

Stakeholder Management :

-Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, product managers, developers, testers, and other relevant teams

-Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational objectives

Risk Management :

-Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with program execution

-Proactively address challenges and roadblocks to keep programs on track and within scope

Mentorship and Resource Management :

-Lead a team of skilled and talented professionals and provide direction, guidance, and mentorship

-Work closely with resource managers to allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of talent and skills

-Monitor and manage program budgets, making data-driven decisions to optimize financial resources

Technical Program Leadership :

-Provide technical program leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards

-Stay abreast of technological advancements and incorporate relevant innovations into program strategies

Continuous Improvement :

-Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency

-Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and apply insights to future initiatives

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline

· Proven experience in the technical program management space, managing complex programs from initiation to completion

· Proven experience working on high-visibility, large-scale applications and prioritizing project deliverables into releases/deployment cycles

· 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

· 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

· Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams and building sustainable processes

· Proven experience working in agile, scrum & waterfall environments; adept at applying the best approach for the environment, applying both design- and systems-thinking principles

· Experience in recruiting, hiring, and managing a high-performing team

· Experience with program/project management tools, including MS Office, MS Project, and creating and maintaining project dashboards using JIRA & other technical collaboration platforms

· PMP, PgMP, and agile certifications an asset

· Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences

· Detail-oriented and highly technical

· Team player

· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build consensus with various stakeholders

· Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills at the working level as well as executive levels

· Must strive to create a positive work environment, provide technical and professional mentorship to team members, and actively work to create strong business and employee relations

· Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (weekend shifts, holidays, & evenings) as needed. Must be available to work, as required, in the event a major incident is identified requiring resolution facilitation and/or communications

· Ability to travel to North York office as well as work from home
