Job Responsibility:
Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The Courier Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time stamps and recipient signatures.
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition through regular inspections.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
Experience
Previous experience in commercial driving or courier services is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus.
Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is advantageous.
Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
A commitment to safety and the ability to handle moving packages in various environments.
