Supply Chain and warehouse associate

Our client is hiring a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Battery Technician to join their service team. This role is a unique blend of technical maintenance and warehouse logistics. You will be responsible for building, diagnosing, and repairing batteries while managing the flow of parts across their Canadian locations.

Technical & Maintenance:

Assembly & Repair: Diagnostics: Use meters to analyze battery health and adjust charge parameters to control current flow and timing.

Chemical Handling: Carefully add acid or water to obtain specified concentrations.

Perform routine inspections to determine the source of problems and recommend repair or replacement.

Warehouse & Logistics:

Safely operate Counterbalance (CB) and Reach trucks to move heavy batteries per OSHA requirement s.

Inventory Management: Match and stock parts received from the National Parts Center; Fulfillment: Pack batteries, chargers, and parts for customer orders and Service Technicians.

Maintain accurate performance records and service reports.

Certification: Must have valid certification and experience operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts.

Technical Aptitude: ability to read electrical meters is a must.

Industry Experience: Previous experience in a chemical warehouse or battery service environment is considered a major asset.

Ability to handle heavy materials and work in a warehouse service environment.

Compliance: Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).

Our client is looking for a Battery Technician with Forklift to manage technical repairs and warehouse flow. You will be the primary point of contact for building, diagnosing, and servicing battery units while ensuring parts are efficiently distributed across Canada.
