Senior Corporate Auditor

Work Model: Hybrid, 3–4 days in office
Travel: Up to 40% across Canada and the US
Our client is a complex, multi-entity organization operating across North America and is seeking a Senior Corporate Auditor to support a growing internal audit function in the GTA.
This role offers broad exposure across finance, operations, acquisitions, and governance. You will partner with business leaders, contribute to value-added audits, and support governance and risk initiatives across Canadian and US operations.
Lead and execute financial, operational, and business process audits across Canadian and US operations
Perform risk assessments, testing, and end-to-end audit execution
Present audit findings and practical recommendations to senior management
Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including opening balance sheet reviews
Assist with internal control documentation, policy development, and best-practice sharing
Support compliance with public company governance and internal control requirements
Collaborate with Finance, Tax, IT, and external auditors during year-end and special engagements
Contribute to audit planning and periodic reporting to senior leadership
4+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or a combination of both

• Experience in a public company or complex, multi-entity environment
• Strong understanding of internal controls, COSO, and risk-based auditing
• Comfortable leading audits and engaging with senior stakeholders
• Willingness to travel across Canada and the US (up to approximately 40%)
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or acquisitive organizations is an asset
