People who genuinely care about each other and the world around them. Vitalis is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Assistant who will report directly to the VP of Operations. We are looking for candidates who are interested in working in a production environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute, grow and prosper as part of our organization. Organizing and picking manufacturing orders & quality control documentation support
Picking, kitting, and issuing parts for Manufacturing, Sales, and Service
Maintain physical inventory in an organized and efficient method
Participate and lead physical inventory counts
Accountable for inventory control
Assist in planning and implementing shop improvement projects as a part of LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting production and warehouse efforts
Safety conscious must adhere to Vitalis safety policy & procedure
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and be computer literate
Must have experience with an ERP and/or an inventory management system (Odoo specific experience an asset)
Experience reading shop/production drawings would be an asset
Forklift Certification with experience an asset
Related training such as First Aid Level 1 would be an asset
Must be a Canadian citizen or have a work visa for Canada
