As a Commercial Senior Underwriter, you will help our brokers and customers by creating unique and tailored solutions that manage the risk of our everchanging business world. You’ll have the chance to refine your commercial underwriting skills in an environment that recognizes performance and care for our customers. You will be supporting broker inquiries via phone call and emails while managing your own workflows.
As a Senior Underwriter, you will be portfolio underwriting for our broker partners with a focus on growth and profitability. You will also have the opportunity to share your expertise through coaching, training, and mentoring. A minimum of 7 years’ property and casualty underwriting experience in medium to complex risks
Takes the initiative to participate in supporting ongoing transformational projects within Commercial Lines
Ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision
Proficient skill with computer applications including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Occasional travel may be required to meet with broker partners
