Quality Engineer

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time.

This role is for a highly skilled Performance Engineer responsible for managing and executing end-to-end non-functional testing activities. The specialist will focus on performance, reliability, and resiliency engineering, utilizing advanced tools for load generation, deep-dive monitoring, and chaos testing. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in payments technology and banking and be familiar with modern AI/ML technologies.

Independently manage and deliver all non-functional testing (NFT) activities, including strategic planning and execution.

• Develop and maintain LoadRunner performance scripts and conduct in-depth analysis of load test results.
• Perform deep-dive performance analysis using monitoring tools and system metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Create and maintain Dynatrace dashboards for continuous performance monitoring and reporting.
• Design and execute chaos engineering experiments using Gremlin to test system resilience and reliability.
• Articulate and document test signoffs clearly and comprehensively to stakeholders.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to improve system availability, latency, and overall performance.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement performance recommendations.

Expert/Strong hands-on knowledge of LoadRunner (scripting and analysis).

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Dynatrace (DT) for performance monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Gremlin for chaos testing.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and query optimization.
• Knowledge of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices.
• Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI)/Co-pilot technologies is a plus.

Solid banking domain knowledge.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of LoadRunner tool (scripting and analysis), Dynatrace performance monitoring (DT), Gremlin (chaos tests), cloud concepts of azure and SRE practices.
• Good understanding in SQL and Dynatrace dashboard creation.
• Ability to independently manage and deliver non-functional testing activities like test-plan creation, deep dive analysis of the load tests and to properly articulate the test signoffs.
