Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking of stock, and implementing effective supply chain strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a solid understanding of inventory management systems.
Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet business demands while minimizing excess stock.
Utilize data mining techniques to analyze inventory trends and forecast future needs.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely procurement and distribution of products.
Implement and maintain MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for efficient inventory control.
Generate reports using Power BI and Tableau to present inventory metrics and performance indicators.
Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Train and supervise warehouse staff on best practices for inventory management, including the safe operation of forklifts.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role within a manufacturing or retail environment.
Proficiency in SQL for database management and reporting purposes.
Familiarity with supply chain processes, including purchasing, warehousing, and distribution.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Experience using inventory management software is a plus.
