Maintenance Technician, Property Management

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Morning Availability Required

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing preventative building maintenance for the assigned apartment buildings while providing great customer service to tenants.

Perform necessary maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting) in occupied units. Complete and submit accurate maintenance log and time sheet. Clean and repair items in vacant or turnover units, including repairs like leaky taps, faucet change and door lock change.

Regularly clean common areas, including stairwells, hallways, and elevators, and ensure all lighting, emergency signs, and fire extinguishers are functional. Complete monthly inspections, painting and repair tasks on time.

Performing physically demanding tasks using ladders and power tools, while applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.

Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance may be required.

Computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mail/web) are required.
